Peace Meal
Written as a reaction to the ongoing tragedy before, during and following the October 7th, 2023 attack, this music intertwines Arabic scale fragments with rhythmic variations of the opening notes from the theme from Exodus. It underscores with Western jazz harmony, two cultures crying out while in such prolonged conflict - while the Western World looks on with their own relative "peace."
